Dea Sea of Faith members Christchurch,

I have been looking at the webite of the Sea of Faith UK and saw your link. I hope you don’t mind me sending you copy of a letter I sent to them:

    My name is Kevin Brookes.
Yesterday, Saturday 6th August 2011, I read an article online about a Priest in Denmark who didn’t believe in God! This immediately aroused my curiosity so I googled, ‘Priests who don’t believe in God. To my amazement, I found a worldwide network of Priests who have broken away from the incorrect doctrines of the Church, in particular the Catholic Church. Well done, about time .
I left the Church when I was 9 years old. I went home from Church one Sunday morning and said to my Mother, ‘I’m not going to Church again Mum; if God shouts like that then he is not a very nice person.’ I was of course referring to the yelling of the Priest, and his hell, fire and damnation sermon.
But at the age of 52 I began to see Spirit. I wasn’t frightened but fiercely curious as to what it was that I was actually seeing. As always happens in life, when you begin to search with passion, new doors open and people who can help you on life’s journey pop into your life. Two ladies who by ancient standards would be modern day Prophets came into my life; Margaret Birkin and Desiree Jestico.
Having read the background to your decision to break away from traditional Church; everything that I have read about you in encapsulated in their respective books, ‘Maitreya’ and ‘Stepping Stones’. So convinced am I that these are the Bibles of the 20thCentury, I would be happy to send you copies if you would like to explore about the new messages, NOT religion, but true Spirituality.
My very best wishes and congratulations
    Kevin Brookes
